Cask’D Capital are pleased to present to you an opportunity to invest into a Whisky Bourbon Cask from the Bladnoch distillery in Bladnoch, Scotland. This is one of the only few casks that has been filled in 2020 during the pandemic.
We are looking for a minimum investment of £500, but expecting compounded gains of approx. 15% depending on market conditions at the time of maturity. We aim to sell the cask at the 10th year mark. Please note that we expect customers to hold their investment for duration of the term stated. Should customers wish to withdraw their investment during the maturity cycle will result in a penalty as per our Terms and Conditions.
The Hogshead (250 litre) cask was filled in May 2020 with approx ABV (alcohol by volume) 63.19%.
Distillery
Bladnoch not being too far from sea crossing between Stranraer and Larne and twice in its history its saviours have come from Northern Ireland. Bladnoch has a deep history of change, from having being a distillery (owned by Irish founders) being faced with Scottish politics that drove fear that Irish made whisky had no future to potentially being made to extensive site for a holiday village into what is now a new distillery that restarted in 2017 with a greater future and new owners who are well versed in the world of Whisky.
Regarding the cask and or bottling you can use the phrase “distilled at Bladnoch Distillery” and use the name “Kirkcowan” or any name of your choice, but it cannot be named “Bladnoch”.
A Kirkcowan is a name provided for Bladnoch’s unpeated single malt whisky. This is a grassy, malty spirit typical of the Lowlands region.
Payment options
Please place in the amount in GBP you wish to invest and the payment options will be provided at the checkout. At the point of selling the cask, please note we will reach out to you personally to confirm your Bank details and transfer your returns via BACS.
Disclaimer: The ROI is a represented example on Cask’D Capital’s ROI projection at point of maturity.
